Nothing,Nowhere brings "A Decade of Darkness" to Toronto, Ontario
On April 29th Nothing,Nowhere stopped by Toronto’s Axis Club with support from sace6 for night of metal mayhem on the Return on the Reaper - A decade in darkness tour!
sace6 started the night off with a set which showed off vivacious vocals, technical tones and charismatic chemistry between the band which that would take place this night. Their performance was full of fan favourite tracks from previous years with “Only Overnight” & “Saturate” receiving great crowd interaction. The band also pulled out some heavy tracks from their upcoming project “Limerence” which had the room bouncing, their recent track “said & done” is the definition of a headbanger, along with this they played a single to soon be released before the full project which features another metal act, Rain City Drive. This was the band’s first time in Toronto and they set the bar high for future shows here. They wrapped up their set and met everybody at the merch booth and got ready to watch Nothing,Nowhere from the balcony with the crowd up there.
Once the Nothing,Nowhere intro started to play, the crowd instantly entered the realm of “The Return of the Reaper" tour. Opening with emo-rap & bass fueled tracks “Shadow Craft”, “REAPER GANG” & “Bullet” the room was electrified with energy and had everyone off their feet. Nothing,Nowhere continued the show with a few more tracks off his project “Dark Magic”, the first of 4 albums he dropped in 2024. Afterwards shifting to a set compiled of fan favourite tracks throughout the years such as “nightmare”, “Pieces of You”, “Shiver”, and many more. Creating many memorable moments for everyone in attendance. As the show started to reach its end, the night got capped off with some of nothing,nowhere’s oldest and most connected with songs such as “I’m Sorry, I’m Trying” & “Hope’s Up” leaving fans feeling heartfelt and emotional with this trip down memory lane, however the crowd was still wanting more, chanting for an encore. NN came back out onto the stage to end the night with some infectious energy, performing his emo covers of “All Star” & “HOT TO GO!” along with his hit track “hammer” to close out the Toronto stop of this tour.
This tour is a special one for the die hard’s within the reaper cult, but also great for the newcomers with all the newer tracks. Both of the artists this night put on a masterclass performance for the metalheads of Toronto to remember. This show was the first of 21 stops along the North American leg of this tour. You can catch a show from now til May 31st. Along with a European leg this fall and an Australian leg throughout 2026.
